Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. In Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are used at collection time and then discarded before Data is logged in any data center or server. Users may voluntarily provide free-form text (e.g., dream content) or optional demographic details (e.g., gender or pronouns) that could, in some cases, reveal sensitive personal information under data protection laws (e.g., relating to health, sexuality, or beliefs).
The Service does not require such information, and the Owner does not actively seek, extract, or profile it. Where such content is provided, it may be processed automatically for the purpose of tagging, generating insights, or enabling other features initiated or accessed by the User. Users may choose to share their dream journal entries publicly by posting them to a global map within the Service. Publicly shared dreams are visible to other Users of the Service and may be displayed on publicly accessible features such as the global dream map.
Users may withdraw their consent to share dreams publicly at any time by deleting the dream entry or updating their sharing settings within the Service. Upon revocation, the shared content will be removed from public view within a reasonable period, unless retention is required for legal or security reasons.
